THIS WEEK'S ANNOUNCEMENTS
SUN NOV. 17: - Sunday School, 10 a.m.
- Clint Andrews will be preaching, 11 a.m.
- Practice for Children’s Christmas Play begins. We need
singers and actors. Children will work on the play during
the Children’s Church time, 11 a.m. Everyone is
- Choir practice, 5 p.m.
- Bible study on the book of James, 6 p.m.
TUES. NOV. 19: - Butterbean Auction, 1 p.m.
WED. NOV. 20: - S.A.L.T., 6:30 p.m. (Will be at the Sevier Ave. location
from here on.)
SUN. NOV. 24: - Our first Sunday meeting together with our brothers and
sisters from Grace Covenant Church. Ed Clevinger will
- Catered meal to follow. Please sign up in the fellowship
- Thanks-Living Service. Kay Hall will be presenting her
testimony and everyone is invited to follow suit and share
their thanks for what the Lord has done. 6 p.m.
SUN. DEC. 1: - Hanging of the Greens Service with John Powers,
vocalist, 6 p.m.
SUN. DEC. 8: - “Song of Joy” Christmas cantata will be presented by
Indian Springs Christian Church, 6 p.m.
SUN. DEC. 15: - “’Twas the Night of Jesus’ Birth” will be presented by our
children and youth, 6 p.m. All-Church Christmas Party
will follow. Please bring finger foods to share.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: Please pick up a shoebox from the fellowship hall (or use your own) along with an instructional brochure. Collection week is November 18-25.
POINSETTIAS: Orders are being taken for poinsettias to be placed in the sanctuary all during the Christmas season! The plants are $5. You may order using one of the envelopes in the backs of the pews.
HOPE HAVEN: Our schedule is now FILLED! Thank you for your willingness to help.
BEVERAGE CART: Don’t forget to bring snack items for Adelphai Circle’s project of stocking Holston Valley’s beverage cart. Individually packaged snack items are appreciated and may be left in the box in the fellowship hall.
